<p>WAVES Founder and CEO</p>
<p>Sasha is a technology entrepreneur who has spent the past decade working to improve evolving electronic payment mechanisms in commercial, banking and public administration systems. In 2016, he founded the Waves Platform, a global public blockchain platform with a market capitalization of $1.7 billion (as of December 19, 2017), which raised 30,000 BTC ($18 million) in crowdfunding, making it the second largest Successful crowdfunding blockchain project (second only to Ethereum)). The name references his background as a theoretical physicist and the recently discovered gravitational waves predicted by Einstein a century ago. Waves Platform has since grown into one of the largest technology communities, with 300,000 active users in 25 countries and partnerships with various well-known international organizations. Most recently, he launched a new project - Vostok - creating the first usable blockchain solution for scalable digital infrastructure, helping to expand the global accessibility of blockchain.</p>
