XRP Ledger Batch V1.1 supports 30 nodes, and if the support rate remains at 80%, it is expected to activate on September 29.
Odaily Planet Daily News: Ayo Akinyele, Engineering Director at RippleX, stated that asset management institutions and other commercial projects are preparing to use the XRP Ledger Batch V1.1 feature. This feature can bundle up to 8 transactions into a single operation and uses a 'all-or-nothing' model, which can be used for delivery versus payment (DvP) settlement, and allows exchanges, wallets, and markets to consolidate service fees with customer payments. Of the 35 tracked validation nodes, 30 have already supported this proposal, exceeding the required 28 votes for activation countdown; the countdown started on September 15, 14:06:41 UTC, and if the support rate remains no less than 80% within the 14-day window, it is expected to activate after the same time on September 29. Batch V1.0 was withdrawn in February this year due to a critical signature verification vulnerability, did not activate, and did not cause any fund loss; the fixed version was released with xrpld 3.3.0 on August 6.
Evernorth plans to raise $30 million through convertible preferred PIK notes, with NH Investment & Securities subscribing
Odaily Planet Daily News: Evernorth has signed a note purchase agreement with NH Investment & Securities, planning to issue convertible preferred PIK notes due in 2031 with an interest rate of 4%. The transaction is contingent on Evernorth's business merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II, Pathfinder Digital Assets, and Ripple Labs, which is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter; the new entity plans to list on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol XRPN, subject to exchange approval. Evernorth is an XRP treasury company.
