Moonriver is the EVM of boca ecology. 
Moonriver is Moonbeam's pioneering chain, a parallel chain for boca smart contract platform. Moonriver is connected to the Kusama relay chain and Moonbeam is connected to the Polkadot relay chain. The relationship between the two is like that between Acala and Karura. 
Moonrivery, which has acquired the first slots in Kusama through parallel chain Crowdlending, is the second project to acquire Kusama parallel chain slots. Project highlights: 1. Provide an entry point for smart contract projects with multi-chain development, enabling DAPP developers to access boca's ecosystem more easily and at low cost. 2. Maximum compatibility with Ethereum, with great respect for the habits of ethereum developers and users. 3, Programming language universal for Solidity or any EVM compiler language.  As a decentralized smart contract platform, Moonriver requires MOVR tokens to function. MOVR releases totaled 10 million. Some uses of MOVR tokens on Moonriver include: 1. Gas metering to support smart contract execution; 2. The creation of decentralized node infrastructure around which the platform can operate incentivizes integrators and powers the mechanism; 3. Promote on-chain governance mechanisms, including proposing referendums, electing council members, voting, etc. 4. Pay transaction fees online. 

Moonriver Network, developed by the PureStake team, brings Solidity Smart contracts to Kusama, Bringing full EVM compatibility to Kusama's diverse domains of decentralized trading platforms, NFT trading platforms, DeFi projects, and more. 
 This means that developers can deploy ethereum-compatible smart contracts to the Boca ecosystem with minimal code changes, and users can enjoy ethereum-compatible smart contracts through Moonriver at a fraction of the cost. 
Moonriver's project advancement consists of four phases of development. After the online Trands block, with governance and infrastructure under the centralized operation of the Moonbeam team, Moonriver is currently in the first phase, the construction of the entrusted certificate of interest. 
 The first stage will focus on the implementation of decentralization. Under the condition of network stability, third-party verifiers will be added to the effective set and implemented. This makes Moonriver the first network to have a centralized witness collection and the ability to customize the parallel chain pledge module. 
After Moonriver will start the governance function, which is the second phase of construction. When governance stabilizes, Sudo keys funded and managed by the Moonbeam team will be removed. At the same time, a more decentralized network will be completely transferred to Token holders. 
 After decentralization, entrusting proof of interest, governance and other functions are built. Moonriver will be fully activated with updated balance transfer and EVM features. Developers and terminals can use the full functionality of Moonriver, including transferring funds, participating in the Moonriver pledge system, deploying smart contracts and receiving rewards.
