<p>Gala Games is a blockchain game development company founded in 2018 that is developing and operating several different kinds of Games. Gala Games brings non-blockchain players into the realm of decentralized gaming by creating simple portals and giving players control over their in-game assets, allowing players to trade items they receive from the game on the blockchain. Gala says it wants to become a decentralized gaming ecosystem that gives players back the control they deserve. </p>
<p>Gala Games was founded by Eric Schiermeyer. Eric was previously the creator of FarmVille, one of Facebook's most popular applications in 2009, and a co-founder of MySpace (once the world's largest social network) and Zynga (a $10 billion NASDAQ gaming company). Eric was the chief designer of Farmville, a Zynga game that took the world by storm in 2009. At its peak, Zynga had 235 million monthly active users and 25 million DAILY active users. At present, Eric himself is also focused on the development of blockchain games. </p>
<p> Currently Gala Games has five planned Games, only one of which is in beta and the rest are in development. </p>
<p>GALA is a native token of the GALA Games ecosystem, based on the ERC20 standard, which provides a convenient payment and settlement mode between GALA Games ecosystem participants. GALA can be used for in-game payments, item purchases, and in-game rewards. </p>

Players need to purchase a founding Node license and ensure that they run for at least six hours a day to earn one credit (the points system in Gala's network does statistics to determine token allocations, which are determined by a random algorithm; currently, one credit is approximately 742 tokens). </p>
<p>2. If you join Gala ecosystem and invite friends to join, you can get recommendation rewards (10 points can be awarded for inviting friends to become founder nodes, and if the invitees meet the daily node operation criteria, the invitees can get an extra 0.1 points per day). </p>
<p>3. Purchase from the secondary market. </p>
<p> The farming simulation Town Star was Gala Games' first game, allowing players to grow crops, gather resources, and build factories on their land to continually improve their economy. The game is challenging and strategic because it requires players to think about the balance of the economy, and it's easy to get into an economic dead end for starters. When Town Star launched, it released a game reward strategy where the top 100 players could get GALA rewards, which attracted a lot of new players to the game and join the GALA ecosystem. </p>
