Secret Network 项目早期名称为 Enigma，最早希望依托以太坊生态进行开发。后在遇到性能瓶颈后调整技术路线，改为通过 Cosmos SDK 开发一条独立的，支持隐私计算的公链。这条公链便是如今的 Secret Network。当然，作为 Cosmos 生态的一员，Secret Network 自然也可以无缝集成 IBC 跨链协议，可以方便地与 Cosmos 生态其他公链进行交互。Secret Network 原生代币 SCRT 主要用于 Gas、PoS 质押、治理等用途。
