Huoxun Finance reported on March 31 that the Central Bank of Cuba has authorized ten domestic companies to conduct international payments using cryptocurrency for the first time. These include nine small and medium-sized private enterprises and one joint venture. The authorization, published in the official gazette on March 23, is valid for one year and can be renewed. Authorized companies can only conduct cross-border payments related to their core business through licensed virtual asset service providers held by the Central Bank and must report transaction details to the Central Bank quarterly. The authorized companies operate in sectors including information technology, software development, catering, transportation, and light industry. This marks a significant step forward in Cuba's digital transformation of its financial system since recognizing the legality of cryptocurrencies in 2021.

Huoxun Finance reported on March 31 that Bitdeer's subsidiary, Tydal Data Center, has reached an agreement with Norwegian contractor Data Center Installations to convert its existing facilities into Norway's largest AI data center, primarily to support NVIDIA's next-generation Vera Rubin AI technology. Bitdeer is accelerating its transformation towards high-performance computing and AI infrastructure. With declining mining profits, providing computing power and infrastructure to the AI industry is becoming a more attractive business direction for mining companies.

According to Huoxun Finance, renowned trader and chart analyst Peter Brandt, along with prediction market users, are pessimistic about Bitcoin's prospects of reaching new highs in 2026. Peter Brandt stated, "I don't think Bitcoin will reach new highs in 2026; perhaps we'll have to wait until the second quarter of 2027." He added, "This is all speculation." On the prediction market Polymarket, the probability of Bitcoin returning to $120,000 in 2026 is only 15%. Regarding the year's low, Peter Brandt pointed out that the $60,000 level on February 6th might not be the lowest point this year, and he expects it to be retested in September or October, or even "slightly lower," at which point it will be the low point of the bear market cycle, and a new bull market will begin. He also stated that his long-term logic for Bitcoin remains unchanged: "The story of Bitcoin is a store of wealth; whether or not utility can be built on Bitcoin may affect its price," and he maintains a neutral or bearish stance on all other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin analyst Willy Woo stated on March 17th that from a liquidity perspective, Bitcoin has completed about "one-third of the bear market." SkyBridge Managing Partner Anthony Scaramucci also pointed out last week that Bitcoin is currently in a four-year bear market cycle, and believes that established whales who subscribe to the four-year cycle may be creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. In terms of sentiment, the spot Bitcoin ETF ended four consecutive weeks of net inflows, recording a net outflow of $296.18 million last week; the Crypto Fear & Greed Index was 8 on Monday, remaining in the "extreme fear" zone since March 20th.
