According to BlockBeats, on July 14th, Hyperinsight monitoring showed that a whale with the account number 0x3e7 currently holds a long position of 2,527.7 Nasdaq 100 (XYZ100) on Hyperliquid with 20x leverage, with a notional size of approximately $74.298 million. This represents about 21.6% of the platform's total open interest in XYZ100, making it the largest XYZ100 long position.

This address currently holds only this one publicly traded position, with a margin requirement of approximately $3.715 million and an account equity of approximately $2.386 million, and has not placed any take-profit or position reduction orders.

As of press time, the XYZ100 was trading at $29,393, with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $371 million. This whale entered the position at $29,593.7 and is currently experiencing a floating loss of approximately $508,000 (−13.6%), with a liquidation price of $25,319.9.

In terms of news, the US June CPI will be released at 8:30 PM Beijing time tonight. This whale (referring to a large investor) entered the market in batches starting on the afternoon of July 9th, and completed its final publicly disclosed position adjustment by the evening of July 10th, after which its holdings remained unchanged.

According to BlockBeats, on July 14th, Haseeb Qureshi, Managing Partner of Dragonfly, stated that previous market concerns about AI triggering a DeFi "hacker apocalypse" have not materialized. Data shows that although the number of hacking incidents reached a new high in 2026, the median loss per attack has fallen below $500,000, compared to over $2 million in 2025.

Haseeb believes that AI-powered attackers are currently primarily targeting smaller protocols with weak security, while large DeFi protocols have gradually strengthened their defenses.
