According to OnchainLens, BlackRock withdrew a total of 10,749 BTC from Coinbase in the past three days, equivalent to approximately $717 million at the current price. Among them, 4,082 BTC, worth approximately $269 million, were withdrawn in a single transaction just nine hours ago.

Huoxun Finance News, February 28th - According to Bloomberg, Morgan Stanley has filed an application with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish a new national trust bank to custody digital assets and provide cryptocurrency trading and staking services to investment clients. The new entity will be headquartered in Purchase, New York, but will operate nationwide. The report states that Morgan Stanley has been continuously strengthening its digital asset portfolio in recent months, including appointing Amy Oldenburg as head of digital asset strategy, applying for ETFs related to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, and partnering with Zerohash to provide cryptocurrency trading services to E*Trade clients.

According to a Bloomberg report on February 28th, Polish online brokerage XTB stated that the political deadlock surrounding the EU's Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) is hindering its cryptocurrency business expansion. XTB planned to launch cryptocurrency trading in Poland, but the process has been stalled due to the country's failure to align its regulations with MiCA. Polish President Karol Nawrocki has twice vetoed the legislation, and financial regulators have warned that if local institutions do not obtain licenses from other EU countries by July 1st, they may lose their eligibility to provide cryptocurrency services. XTB is considering applying for a cryptocurrency license in Cyprus as an alternative, but says this would weaken its customer acquisition and marketing capabilities in Poland.

Huoxun Finance reported on February 28th that, according to Axios, over 200 employees from Google and OpenAI have signed an open letter urging the two companies to follow Anthropic's example and commit not to use their advanced AI technology for domestic surveillance or fully autonomous weapons in the United States. The letter states that the Pentagon is negotiating with Google and OpenAI to obtain usage rights that Anthropic has already refused, and is attempting to sow discord between the companies by manipulating their positions. The letter demands that the management of both companies set aside their differences and reach a unified stance on drawing "red lines" regarding government military and surveillance uses.
