Symbiosis stated that the attack occurred around 4:28 AM on September 11th. The team has suspended BTC routing; other routes remain operational and unaffected. The team has recovered approximately 15 Bitcoins and deposited them into a team-controlled multi-signature wallet. A white-hat bounty of 20% of the funds has been offered to the attackers, with a deadline of September 13th. In recent weeks, Liquid Network, Nomic, and Symbiosis have all experienced security incidents involving the minting of tokens without real asset backing to inflate the supply.
