According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, the decentralized AI data network Perceptron Network completed a $6.5 million strategic funding round. Investors included Sigma Capital, Selini Capital, QCP Capital, P2 Ventures, CoinDCX Ventures, Momentum6, DeFi Capital, Walrus Foundation, Aethir, Colosseum, GuruDev Capital, Tempo Finance, NewTribe Capital, Digital Consensus Fund, and CodeCraft Capital.
This funding round will support the launch of Perceptron's data exploration platform, expand its contributor tools and rewards infrastructure, and scale the network to its goal of 5 million nodes. Perceptron aims to consolidate global data collection into a single contributor network, enabling AI companies and ordinary contributors to access, validate, and monetize high-quality datasets. Perceptron is currently live with over 700,000 nodes.
According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, Bitcoin's price movement in July was generally stable. Although it fell by more than 3% on the last day due to the FOMC curse, it still rose by 7.51% for the whole month.
Looking ahead to August, in the 13 price movements of Bitcoin since 2013, 9 have resulted in a decline and 4 in a rise. While the average return is 1.12%, the median return is only -7.49%. The largest increase occurred in August 2017, with a monthly increase of 65.32%; the largest decrease occurred in August 2015, with a monthly decrease of 18.67%.
According to BlockBeats, on August 1, St. Louis Federal Reserve President Musaleem pointed out that the recent sell-off of U.S. Treasury bonds signals that the Federal Reserve needs to earn its credibility against inflation through effective communication and necessary actions every day, and is inclined to raise interest rates earlier in a small and gradual manner rather than taking large actions later.
According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, Robinhood Chain's launch platform, Pons, officially launched version v2. As previously released information indicates, version v2 is deeply integrated with Uniswap V4, allowing tokens issued on the platform, in addition to ETH, to be directly paired with tokenized stocks.
