According to BlockBeats, on August 14th, Geoff Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered, stated that the previously set target price of $100 for UNI by 2030 may still be too low, mainly because Uniswap has recently accelerated the pace of repurchasing and burning UNI through protocol revenue.

Data shows that from July 27 to August 12, the Uniswap protocol generated an average daily revenue of approximately $244,000, about 2.4 times higher than the average daily revenue of $99,800 over the previous 17 days. Based on current annualized levels, the amount of UNI burned is approximately $89.1 million. Kendrick stated that at the current UNI price, this burning rate is equivalent to burning about 4% of the circulating supply annually, and with more partnerships like Robinhood emerging, the long-term burning scale could further expand.

Robinhood Chain contributed the majority of Uniswap's recent protocol revenue. In the past seven days, Uniswap generated approximately $925,000 in protocol revenue on Robinhood Chain, accounting for about 60% of Uniswap's total protocol revenue of $1.55 million during the same period. Kendrick previously projected a target price of $6.50 for UNI by the end of 2026, stating that even if that price is reached, the current burn rate would still correspond to an annualized rate of approximately 2.2%.
