According to Onchain Lens monitoring, as reported by Odaily Planet Daily, Windemute (0xecb...2b00) currently holds approximately $160 million in open positions on Hyperliquid, of which approximately $146 million are short positions, accounting for 91% of its total exposure; and approximately $13.9 million are long positions with an unrealized loss of $3.66 million. This account has historically accumulated profits of approximately $204 million.
198,300 LINK tokens, worth $2.3 million, were transferred to Coinbase; a major whale may be preparing to sell them.
According to Onchain Lens monitoring, a whale previously purchased 198,300 LINK tokens from Cumberland, worth $2.3 million, and has now transferred them to Coinbase, possibly for sale.
Liquidation Alert
In the past hour, total liquidations across the network reached $11.81 million, with $10.89 million from long positions, with $916,736.78 from short positions. BTC liquidation $531,196.68, ETH liquidation $1.37 million.
Grayscale believes that the current price of Bitcoin may offer a favorable entry point for long-term investors, with three factors converging.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Zach Pandl, Head of Research at digital asset management firm Grayscale, stated that the structural adoption trend of Bitcoin continues, the current bear market has entered a deeper phase, the overall macroeconomic outlook is favorable, and three factors may provide entry points for long-term investors, but prices may still fall. Grayscale points out that Bitcoin adoption growth is mainly driven by government deficits, the expansion of blockchain applications in financial services, and generational changes in investor asset allocation. The current bear market has lasted for 10 months, close to the average and median duration of 11 to 12 months in the previous four cyclical bear markets. Macroeconomic risks mainly depend on real interest rates and Federal Reserve policy. The Federal Open Market Committee maintained the federal funds rate at 3.5% to 3.75% in July, and future rate hikes could further depress Bitcoin; Bitcoin rose to $79,461 on August 21, before falling back to around $77,000.
