According to BlockBeats, on August 24, Hsin-Ju, former partner and head of the platform at Hack VC, tweeted that he had rejected Hack VC's settlement offer and would release evidence related to his time at Hack VC on August 26.
Hsin-Ju previously stated that he was required to continue working during his employment due to a medical emergency, and that the company threatened to blacklist him if he resigned before the event was completed. Following the incident, he accused the company of problems handling his health insurance after his departure and of continuing to pressure him during legal negotiations. He has since dismissed his lawyer and stated that he would rather forgo a settlement than allow the matter to be made public.
Hack VC subsequently tweeted that they had noticed the tweet and were deeply concerned about Hsin-Ju's health. They also stated that their understanding of the incident differed significantly from Hsin-Ju's post, but out of respect for privacy, they did not wish to discuss the details publicly at this time.
According to BlockBeats, on August 24th, tradingBeats monitoring showed that trader xm39, who had been continuously tracking the US-Iran conflict, continued to expand his "long crude oil, short Nasdaq" portfolio. Since a significant portfolio adjustment on August 17th, he further increased his two Hyperliquid positions from approximately $17.606 million to $48.209 million, an increase of approximately $30.6 million, or 173.8%.
Among them, WTI long positions increased from $7.299 million to $12.833 million. During this period, a total of approximately $5.069 million was purchased. Even after WTI fell 1.5% today, $1.561 million was added to the position at an average price of $85.38. Currently, the average purchase price is $81.80, with a floating profit of approximately $535,000, an increase of approximately 7.6 times compared to the previous position.
Nasdaq short positions increased from approximately $10.307 million to $35.376 million, a net increase of approximately $25.529 million. Currently, there is a floating profit of approximately $195,000, with additional profits of approximately $250,000 realized through repeated portfolio adjustments during the period.
The two positions currently have a combined unrealized profit of approximately $730,000; including realized profits during the period, this round of "long oil, short stock" trading has contributed nearly $980,000 in gains. They have currently placed profit-taking orders totaling approximately $10.6 million between $89.39 and $90.42.
