Bitwise, VanEck, and other institutions call on the US SEC to approve the inclusion of liquidity staking tokens in ETPs
Huoxun Finance reported on July 31st that JitoLabs, Bitwise, Multicoin Capital, VanEck, and the Solana Policy Institute have submitted an open letter to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) urging approval of the inclusion of liquidity staking tokens in exchange-traded products (ETPs), specifically targeting the pending Solana ETF application from eight major issuers. The letter argues that liquidity staking tokens can improve capital efficiency, enhance operational resilience, and improve risk management, which aligns with the SEC's recently issued guidance on physical (underlying asset) subscriptions and redemptions for cryptocurrency ETFs.

Meteora has opened the first quarter points query
Huoxun Finance reported on July 31st that Solana's ecosystem liquidity protocol, Meteora, has officially opened its first quarter points inquiry, with the first quarter snapshot taken on June 30th. Meteora's second quarter activities are underway, and users providing liquidity can earn fees and receive points from the second quarter's LP incentive program.

Clearpool expands payment financing business and launches stablecoin yield token
Huoxun Finance reported on July 31st that Clearpool, a decentralized credit marketplace, has launched a series of financing payment products targeting fintech companies that process cross-border transfers and card transactions. These products include the stablecoin Credit Pool (PayFi) for payment financing and cpUSD, a permissionless token that generates yield by providing short-term loans to payment providers. Clearpool's PayFi pool is designed to provide credit to institutional lenders serving these companies, with repayment periods ranging from one to seven days. The cpUSD token, backed by the PayFi vault and a liquid, yield-earning stablecoin, aims to provide returns tied to real-world payment flows rather than speculative crypto activity.
