Iran's Ministry of Economy establishes Economic Warfare Command

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Iran's Ministry of Economy has established an "Economic Warfare Command" to centrally assess the economic problems caused by the war and coordinate relevant departments to expedite the formulation and implementation of solutions. Deputy Minister of Economy Mortaza Zamanian stated that the agency, located within the Ministry of Economy, will initially focus on issues within the Ministry's jurisdiction, including the impact of the war on business operations, trade, and financing, in order to accelerate the follow-up and resolution of related problems. Issues beyond the Ministry's authority will be handled through inter-departmental coordination. He said the agency's main tasks are to centrally identify the problems and economic obstacles caused by the war, propose workable solutions, and strengthen coordination when multiple departments need to participate.
