PANews 1月5日消息，以太坊联合创始人Vitalik Buterin发文称，在现有体系里，效率与便捷的优化不过是细微优化，但硅谷巨头早已垄断这类游戏，我们无法与之抗衡。以太坊必须另辟蹊径——韧性。韧性不是追求更高收益，而是避免毁灭性打击：当遭遇封禁、开发者消失、云服务崩溃或网络战争时，系统仍能保持2000ms延迟；当全球任何人接入网络，都能成为平等的主权参与者。这种韧性不是联合国席位或达沃斯握手式的“主权”，而是数字主权——通过消除对外部力量的随意依赖，让世界计算机及其用户获得自主权。它让平等互依成为可能，而非成为跨国企业的附庸。这是以太坊能赢的赛道，动荡世界中，它提供的价值正被越来越多人需要。Web2科技与韧性无关，传统金融的韧性仅针对特定风险。区块空间虽丰富，但去中心化、无需许可且具韧性的区块空间稀缺。以太坊必须先成为这样的空间，再实现规模化。
