PANews 3月30日消息，据新华网报道，世界数据组织在北京召开第一次会员大会，审议通过组织章程并选举产生首届理事、监事。新当选的首届理事会随即召开第一次会议，选举产生组织负责人，审议通过组织重要制度和规定，标志着世界数据组织完成组建，并正式投入运行。这是全球首个旨在推动数据发展与治理实践的专业性国际组织，总部设在北京。
