PANews 6月9日消息，据知情人士透露，随着SpaceX的上市日渐临近，其首次公开募股已吸引了机构投资者数倍于可供股份的认购需求。消息人士称，负责此次IPO的主承销商周二早些时候向投资者透露，通过与管理层的会晤，认购需求进一步增加。这些人士称，自周一以来，股票认购订单数量持续增加。部分知情人士称，承销银行已分别表示，此次发行中面向机构投资者的配售份额将主要集中于大型纯多头投资管理公司。据外媒报道，多家机构投资者各自下单认购了约100亿美元或更多的股票。
