PANews 6月10日消息，据人民财讯报道，香港证监会就5月22日通函进一步进行解读。通函中的常见问题（九）提到，香港持牌公司可继续为中国内地投资者（即以中国居民身份证及/或中国护照作为身份证明文件的投资者）开立新账户，但必须符合所有开立账户规定。香港证监会对此表示，香港持牌公司可继续为现有的中国内地客户提供服务，前提是有关服务并非在中国内地境内提供，且其已遵守香港及适用司法管辖区的一切相关法律及监管规定。香港证监会还表示，其注意到中国内地当局于2026年5月22日联合发布的通知，其相关要求亦适用于其他司法管辖区（即不限于香港）的金融机构在向中国内地投资者提供服务时的相关活动。
