PANews 7月12日消息，据金十报道，伊朗伊斯兰革命卫队海军凌晨宣布，霍尔木兹海峡即日起关闭，任何船只不得通行。声明说，伊方此前公告表示，外国势力干预霍尔木兹海峡事务、非法划定船只通行路线的行为都将招致伊方“坚决应对”。鉴于外国势力非法干预造成不安全局面，霍尔木兹海峡即日起关闭，直至另行通知以及美国停止干涉这一地区为止。声明说，数小时前，数艘船只试图沿未经伊方批准的路线航行，并无视伊方关于修正航向的提示和警告。其中一艘船只关闭自动识别系统，被伊方警告性射击击中并停航。声明还警告说，如美方以此次事件为借口对伊朗发动新的袭击，伊方将予以猛烈回应，打击美国在中东地区的更多基地。
