Bloomberg Launches Stablecoin Dashboard on the Terminal

USD MAIN

Bloomberg launched a stablecoin dashboard on the Bloomberg Terminal on Sept. 30, giving institutional users hourly onchain data on stablecoin supply, mints, burns, transfers and velocity, the company announced in a release . The dashboard is available now to all Terminal users at RWAS <GO>.

The new screen pulls data from Allium, a blockchain data platform for enterprises, and drops it into the same fixed income, foreign exchange and money market tools Terminal subscribers already use, rather than forcing them to piece together figures from a patchwork of blockchain explorers and analytics sites.

Hourly onchain data across a $300 billion market

The dashboard covers every stablecoin with more than $100 million in circulating supply, together more than 98% of the market, along with select smaller and non-U.S.-dollar-pegged assets. Its default view compares stablecoins side by side on supply, mints, burns, transfer volume and velocity, with current data refreshed hourly and historical series updated daily. Users can drill into individual stablecoins across blockchain networks, switch to a network-level view, or filter assets by peg type, including fiat currencies, commodities and other stablecoins.

Bloomberg extends a decade of digital-asset coverage

The launch extends Bloomberg’s onchain offering. The company has carried Bitcoin pricing on the Terminal since 2014 and now provides spot pricing, reference data, identifiers and benchmarks for 50 institutionally relevant cryptocurrencies. Its separate Crypto Exposure Analytics helps compliance teams identify direct and indirect crypto exposure across portfolios. Matthew Parkinson, Bloomberg’s global head of digital assets product, said stablecoins are becoming an increasingly important part of institutional digital asset markets, particularly as firms explore how cash and assets can move within tokenized financial infrastructure.

Why institutions want cleaner stablecoin data

Stablecoins now account for more than $300 billion in circulating supply and have become core infrastructure linking digital-asset markets to traditional finance, from settlement and cross-border payments to demand for short-dated U.S. Treasuries. Allium co-founder and chief executive Ethan Chan said institutions want the same certainty in onchain data that they already have in traditional markets, and his firm counts Visa, Coinbase and the Federal Reserve among its clients. The dashboard follows other market-data infrastructure launches, including DoubleZero’s real-time Hyperliquid market data offering , and lands as policymakers tighten their focus on stablecoin risk, with the European Central Bank pushing to widen a stablecoin yield ban . It also builds on a recent Bloomberg collaboration with Kaiko to make its data available on the Canton Network.
